BACKGROUND: In 2017, the Case Management Society of America (CMSA) assembled a team of experts who weighed in on the history of case management, its current state of affairs and its future standards. With the increasing emphasis on care coordination by providers and payers, there has been much professional debate regarding the case management models being used in hospitals today - and boundaries between traditional roles have been blurred. Then, in June 2019, the Case Management Society of America released a publication called "The Practice of Hospital Case Management: A White Paper" that housed the task force's findings and clarified CMSA's position.
THE WEBINAR: We asked Stefani to facilitate a discussion and weigh in on her thoughts about the paper, its findings, the difference between case management and care coordination (if any) - through the lens of her long-term experience in hospital case management. She will answer your questions about how to reconcile your current case management department with care coordinator roles and requirements - and much, much more.
Register now to hear this one-of-a kind insight and to ask Stefani your questions.
Here is how to order the $25.00 CMSA publication before the webinar: https://www.pathlms.com/cmsa/courses/12360
